I've finally reached the end of the line after an epic ten month trial of Read Between The Lines, and sadly, it wasn't the ending that I had hoped for.
After a really bright start, the service began to struggle in the months that followed. Although there were a few moments along the way where I thought things might be okay, it wasn't to be in the end.
Month ten resulted in a further loss of £131.00, which brought my total amount lost up to £856.17.
The service stopped posting tips after the 5th March and there hasn't been any messages or contact at all from the tipster, so I don't know if he will return or not.
Either way, I don't see any point continuing the trial and I probably let it go on longer than I should have anyway.

I just couldn't let go of this one!
I battled through it for ten months in hope that the results would get back on track, but it just didn't happen.
It is head first into the FAILED pile for Read Between The Lines.
Update Nine: 19th February 2024
There still isn't any profit to report for Read Between The Lines, and even though it was a small loss this time, there's now been four consecutive losing months.
There is a positive, but it's not really much of one, in that there was a profit at BSP this month. It doesn't help anything though, as the BSP bank was blown quite some time ago already.
The regular bookmaker bank is still hanging on, but for how long?

Summary
I feel as though I may as well keep going now after coming this far. The bank is either going to bust, or there is going to be some kind of spectacular set of results to pull me out of this dip.

Update Eight: 20th January 2024
Read Between the Lines have had a truly awful month in what was the eighth month of my trial, with only 2 places out of 39 bets.
The total amount lost was £568 to £10 stakes, which leaves me in a difficult position as my bank is down by almost 70%.
I was planning to run this trial for 12 months, but now I am wondering whether it is worth carrying on after such poor results. Another month like this will see the betting bank obliterated!

Update Seven: 20th December 2023
It has been another really poor month for Read Between the Lines in the seventh month of my extended trial with another blow to my betting bank.
I have lost a further £225.40, which means all accumulated my profit has been wiped out. As it stands, my bank has decreased by 12.5% for the whole trial so far.
It's been a turbulent time for the service, with a drought of winners that lasted for two weeks this month.

Update Six: 20th November 2023
Frustratingly, Read Between The Lines failed to make a profit in month six of my trial. It's like I have been yo-yoing throughout the trial and not really getting anywhere.
The thing is, I really do believe that this is a profitable service long-term so I can't bring myself to stop the trial here.
If I did, I would have to give it a neutral rating because the fact is, I have only made £100.23 profit in six months.
I just feel that because of the style of this tipster's betting with tips at very high prices, it's worth hanging around to wait for the big wins. Just a few winners with this service could turn it into hugely profitable year.

I'm going to have to exercise some patience with this one, that's for sure.
I will make this a 12 month trial and then I will know for sure whether it is a service worth subscribing to or not.
Update Five: 23rd October 2023
It's been a much better month in my trial of Read Between The Lines this time with £286.40 profit at the available prices.
There had been a poor run of results before this so I was glad to see the back of that.
The tipster narrowly missed out on some big winners this month too, with a lot of places that could have paid out top dollar given the high prices that he bets at.
The BSP results were not so good, as some of the places were outside of the Betfair standard place payouts so I had to put them down as "lost". There are more place markets at Betfair, but they don't have a BSP for me to track.
With a £1,000 starting bank the BSP bank has now bust, but I will keep recording the results anyway for reference.

Summary
I'm glad to see the results looking more positive, but I intend to keep the trial running for a bit longer to see what happens. It's quite a volatile service because of the high odds, but I do believe this tipster knows where the value is and it should translate to long-term profit.
Update Four: 22nd September 2023
My trial of Read Between The Lines has taken quite the U-turn after starting off amazingly. Ever since the first month, my results have been poor.
Now I am in a bit of a predicament, as I was confident this service would do well after already giving a PASS to it's mirror service, Hanbury Racing Tips.
I am inclined to keep my trial running so I that I cover a full six months, as this isn't your average tips service.
The bets are largely at very high odds and with that comes high variance. It could be that the service has just hit a downswing and that things will level out eventually. It is difficult to review these types of services in a small time frame.

I can only hope that Richard bounces back from this as soon as possible, as another losing month to this extent could be devastating to my assigned betting bank for the trial.
Update Three: 21st August 2023
I banked a tiny profit of £13.20 in the third month of my Read Between The Lines trial, which was quite the contrast to the profit at the original prices.
If I had been able to get the advised prices before they were slashed by the bookies, I would have made £306.40 profit.
It just goes to show the difference it can make over the course of a month.
One of the winning tips was priced at 67.00, but I could only get odds of 51.00, which meant a £192 difference in profit. At the time, I felt like it was still a really good win and I was pleased with the result. As you can see though, it had a big effect on the total profit at the end of the month.

After a great start to my trial, month two was quite disappointing with £285.07 lost at the available prices.
It's not all bad, as I am still up to £354.13 profit for the trial overall and with these high priced bets, things could quickly change with a winner or two.

I already knew that this tipster was good, but he has absolutely smashed it in the first month of my trial of his Read Between The Lines service.
At the available prices I have made £639.20 to £10 stakes, with the tipster achieving 16 high priced winners and places.
That works out as a 40.7% return on investment for the month... amazing!

As I said in my introduction to this trial, I have no doubt that this service will be a success. Richard just keeps delivering and shows no sign of slowing down.

Read Between The Lines is a professional horse racing tipster on the Tipstrr platform who has reported £1,262 profit in the last 6 months to £10 stakes.
You may recognise the tipster, Richard Hutchinson, as he also runs the successful Hanbury Racing Tips service. This service was awarded a clear pass in my trial, with an amazing £1,569.90 profit achieved in three months.
Here's a breakdown of the statistics for the service to date for the last six months:
I have no doubt that this service will achieve similar success but I will test it for myself as it is on a different platform.
That can make a big difference as the timing and reliability of tips being sent out is important.
