Well, month one of testing The Each Way God didn’t exactly go as hoped!
To £10 stakes, I ended up down by £140 at the available prices, and things were even rougher at BSP, with a loss of £418.62. I also faced a losing streak of 16 bets in a row at one stage, which was pretty nasty.
There were a number of close calls for the BSP results, as a few bets finished just outside of Betfair’s place payout rules.
These would have brought in returns at traditional bookmakers but sadly missed out on Betfair Exchange, which stung a bit!

Summary
It’s definitely been a rocky start, but here’s hoping for some stronger results I we move into month two. Onward and (hopefully) upward!
Introduction: 2nd October 2024
The Each Way God has grown his starting bank by an impressive 133.47% since January 2024. No surprise the Betting Gods were eager to have him on their team!
Each-way betting is lower risk because you're covering two outcomes instead of just one. So, you’re betting on a horse to win, but also to finish in a certain place, like top 3 or 4. If the horse wins, you get paid on both parts of the bet.
But even if it only places, you still get something back. It’s nice because you’re not totally relying on a win, so you have a better chance of at least getting part of your stake back. Feels a bit safer than going all-in on a win bet!
Here's a breakdown of the statistics for the service to date:
The results definitely look promising, but as always, I'll be putting the service to the test myself to see how it holds up in a live trial.
I will be back with my first set of results in November.
