My JPW Racing Tipster review has turned out to be one heck of a trial with twists and turns from month to month.
After five months I have lost £89.58 based on £10 per point stakes at the available prices, but the Betfair SP profit stands at a much more attractive +£609.11.
I was going to keep my trial going until I reached the six month mark but honestly, it could go either way and it wouldn't change my mind on the rating that I have decided on.

Summary
To summarise, I feel that JPW Racing Tipster is worth having a look at given the Betfair SP profit achieved during my trial.
James puts a lot of time into researching his tips and putting his festival bets together. It is just a shame that it hasn't resulted in a profit at the advised/available prices in the past five months.
I am giving the service a neutral rating as I feel that despite the disappointing results, everything else about it was top notch and with a few good months things could turn around quickly.
It's certainly not one to be discounted and I hope to see it do well going forward.
Update Four: 25th May 2021
Having had such a good set of results last month, I had hoped that JPW Racing Tipster could keep up their winning run.
It was not to be and nearly all of the profit accumulated in month three was taken back. Month four ended £280.50 in the red, so that means I have now lost £149.43 in my trial overall.

Summary
The service has started their flat betting season now, so I am going to carry on with my trial for a little bit longer.
Check back next month for my latest results.
Update Three: 27th April 2021
Wow, what a comeback! JPW Racing Tipster has had an amazing month, delivering £287.75 profit at available prices and £524.00 profit at BSP.
This means that not only have they recovered the loss from last month, they added a profit to the pot as well.
The service did full coverage of the Aintee Grand National festival this month which turned out to be quite the rollercoaster. There were a few twists and turns, but they managed to finish with a small profit of £24.25 overall.

Summary
Personally I found it a lot of fun following the Aintree tips and I'm looking forward to the Punchestown festival to see if JPW can pull some more winners out of the bag.
It would be great to see the service build more profit from regular racing in the meantime.
I'll be back with another update in a month's time.
Update Two: 26th March 2021
Despite a decent performance over Cheltenham with a 25/1 winner on day one, it turned out to be a losing month in the end for JPW Racing Tipster.
The month started with a terrible run where there was just one win from 22 bets and I ended up down by £242.76 using £10 stakes.
It would have taken some doing to recover from that and although some of it was won back later in the month, it just wasn't enough.

Summary
I am hoping to see the service back on it's feet after this disappointing month of results. I'll be back next month with my next update.
Update One: 26th February 2021
JPW Racing Tipster made a great start in the first month of my trial, tipping a horse at 25/1 each-way that went on to win the race.
Betting at BOG bookmakers would have worked out well this month, with a number of horses drifting out the day after being tipped.
Saturnas was advised at a price of 34.00 and the BSP was 71.95. Sadly, it only managed to place, or that would have been a very nice win indeed.
All in all, I made £86.08 profit for the month with an ROI of 12.2%.
JPW Racing Tipster – Update One | Advised Prices | Price taken | Betfair SP |

Summary
I am looking forward to seeing how the next month goes and hopefully there will be some more profit to add to the pot.
Introduction: 25th January 2021
JPW Racing Tipster is an established horse tips service that have built up a big following since they started in 2008.
It is run by James Walsh, who started studying horses at the age of 14 and managed to turn it into a professional career years later.
He mainly covers the big festivals but also offers a Saturday and weekend service, which can be subscribed to separately or as a combo package.
The races he bets on are Class 2 and above, so really only the best races going. This was put in place in June 2020 and appears to be working well.
The results page states £1,337 profit for 2020/21 and a 22% return on investment, so that's £127 monthly profit using £10 stakes.
There are results published for the previous years, but the only stand out year was 2018 with £802.10 profit.
I am going to be trialling both the weekend and festival memberships and I will note down my results at the advised and available prices to compare. I'll also look to see if the tips are profitable at Betfair SP.
I'll be back in a month with my first report.
